All-Powerful Alpha Pi Chapter at the

University of Washington

CHAPTER HISTORY

October 13, 2006

The idea of creating a distinct sorority at the University of Washington began. Annabel Cholico and Maria Guadalupe Gallardo were influenced by a Latino Greek fraternity and friends to establish a Latina sorority on the University of Washington.

February 11, 2007

Due to the efforts and hard work put forth by the women, a Kappa Delta Chi prospective colony was established. 

September 30, 2007

With their passion for the organization eleven women began the charter member process to establish Kappa Delta Chi at the University of Washington. The women are as follows: Blanca Chavez, Annabel Cholico, Claudia Cortes, Paola Flores, Maria Guadalupe Gallardo, Josephina Mesa, Naila Prieto, Patricia Ramos, Esmeralda Reyes, Michelle Rodriguez, and Diana Melano

December 09, 2007

 After completing hundreds of hours of community service, diligently studying, and dedicating themselves to their sisters, this group of eleven was inducted into Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Incorporated. These strong and passionate women are and forever will be known as the charter members of the All Powerful Alpha Pi Chapter at the University of  Washington. 

The purpose of Kappa Delta Chi shall be to promote the traditional values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership of its members. An organization dedicated to service for institutions of higher education and underrepresented communities with special emphasis on the hispanic/latino population: a servitude based on love and friendship.
